Spring Play Auditions

Tove is back as the director for our Spring Play! She will be leading our thespians in a Play called ‘The Amazons vs the Greeks’, and hopes to stage it in our new facility upon our return. Auditions will be held at the Carnation Library, and Tove urges all who are interested to attend one of the audition times below:

February Fun

Day Trip: Northwest Flower & Garden Show! Wednesday, February, 8, head over to the convention center with Amy for an all day immersion in everything gardening! Beautiful displays, shopping, speakers and workshops. $25 buys your ticket and transportation to Seattle. Lunch can be purchased at event. Sign-up sheet will be available at front desk.

Theo’s Chocolate Factory Tour

Join Amara for a trip to delicious Theo’s Chocolate in Fremont. Participants will tour the plant, learn about how chocolate is grown and made, and test samples along the way. Bring a sack lunch.

Book Club

Aging Well Book Club continues this month at Snoqualmie Valley Library on Saturday, Feb. 18. We'll discuss the book, Never Say Die: The Myth & Marketing of the New Old Age, by Susan Jacoby. Discussion facilitated by  Gean & Phil Dindia. You may want to consider purchasing an optional lunch after the meeting at Mings Garden ll Chinese Cuisine to continue the discussion. Drop-ins are welcome.

Our Valley has many options for senior living and a great collaboration among the organizations who meet the needs of seniors in the valley.  In part 1 of this two-part series on senior housing, you will hear from Cascade Park and SnoRidge Apartments as well as Red Oak Residence.
